Has anyone ever gotten their horizontal eyebrow pierced?

how bad does it hurt? i know it's a stupid question, but on a scale of 1 being absolutely painless and 10 being unbearably excruciating, what is a general idea? i have a double monroe or "angel bites" and i want to take them out and get a horizontal eyebrow piercing instead. is it more subtle? and in the case of rejection, how bad is the scarring? also, i would want it to look really dainty. none of those ginormous gauged bars. probably along the lines of a 16-18 gauge. is that too small? and do any complications come from having a really small gauge? i don't understand why people tend to pierce them with large gauges. like 12-14.. thanks! :]
