Hi, Is their anyway u can get arround the annual fee of PLATINUM AMEX ?

hi, again the fee for the plat card from amex is 450$ I was offered few days to upgrade my GOLD to the platinum is their like anyway to get't for like 259$? or something like that meanful like is their a slicky way :D ?
