Is the SDR going to be the new one world currency for you and me?

The potential exists, though SDR's are really more of an idea for a reserve currency rather than a currency consumers would use. That being said, it's also very likely that the reserve currency would simply change to Euros. China, Russia, Brazil, Iran and several others are all in the process of changing over their reserves to Euros. While SDR's are an interesting theory that all those nations and more are toying with, the Euro, at least in the mid-term, is the practical currency for immediate use.
