Yosemite trip?

how much could the cheapest trip to yosemite be? I live in vallejo, ca in the bay area and would like to spend a weekend or 3 days during the week there in august/sept. I don't care if we stay in a tent or in a motel as long as it's nearby and we can do some hiking, sightseeing and some possible gold panning.
