How long would it take for snow to melt?

A winter storm has jus ped socal and local mountains got around 6" to a 1 foot of snow. Last time it snowed up there was yesturday night. I' am planning to go on sunday with my girlfriend since she never seen lots of snow, so iam hoping it wont melt my sunday. I want her to be able to see the trees covered in snow. Do you think it will remain up untill sunday, forcast predicts the highset tem there will be 39 and that will be on sat.
